Ford three-button keyless key fob battery replacement

Showing the replacement of the key fob battery for Ford on an old Ford C-Max key.

Instructions as per the above video:

note the two pads on the side of the key fob

press the two pads on the side of the key fob

while pressing the two pads lift off the key fob cover

remove the emergency key located inside the key fob

slot the emergency key careful into the slot and turn it sideways

this will separate the two sides of the key fob which you can now take apart

remove the old battery from the key fob and dispose according to your local regulations

replace with a new battery paying attention to the correct type of battery cell and polarity

careful align the two sides of the key fob and clip back together. Re-insert the emergency key and close the cover
