Vauxhall / Opel 3 button flip key fob battery replacement

Showing the replacement of the key fob battery for Opel and Vauxhall on an old Vauxhall Astra key fob.

Instructions as per the above video:

note the joint at the side of the key fob
carefully pull along the joint, this will separate the battery compartment cover from the key fob
completely remove the battery compartment cover
remove the old battery from the key fob and dispose according to your local regulations
replace with a new battery, paying attention to the correct type of battery cell and polarity
careful align the battery compartment cover with the key fob and clip it back together
